Goyo-matsu Japanese White Pine (Rock Grown)
Named: -
Estimated Age:Unknown
Size:-
A bonsai created at Kanraku-en, a bonsai garden established in the Omiya Bonsai Village soon after the village was founded (it is now out of business). This Japanese white pine stretches out to give off the impression that it is crawling down the side of a cliff. Maintaining a perfect balance, it reaches out with its trunk to the sky. Through the group planting of a lingonberry and a Japanese pear placed at its roots, giving this bonsai a more natural feel, one can be drawn into a scene of nature when admiring this piece.
